Moving is literally the hardest thing. As a child we moved around a lot, I switched schools regularly, but then Freshman year of High School my Mom told me it would stop. She didn’t want me to have to re-create myself during those years. I never fully appreciated her being thoughtful of this until I saw J move. She wasn’t loving her school, but being moved randomly without choice was so hard for her. I was shocked because she is super confident and social, but the move took a lot of that away from her.
