If I had one wish, it would be to time travel and see what it was like in other eras. For now, fashion and bikinis will take me there. So glad you joined me!
If you could go back to one time era what would it be? Picture this, one day you wake up and there is a time machine sitting in your room. There is a note taped to it- it says “with this machine you can go to any era you want, but you have to stay there for the rest of your life.” How scary, facing the unknown of a new time period. Technically the life we live in right now is unknown but we also have some knowledge of things. We know how things are in a way and we know the basics of how everyone acts. We know the social norms. However, there are so many things in the current time that pop up and we have no idea what to deal with. On the other hand, facing a new reality could almost be more difficult because we would have barely any background knowledge. Here are some things I would consider if put in this situation. One, what do I know about the time period (for example a few years ago I went through a World War 2 phase, I read many books and did a lot of research) just having this knowledge of that time period I probably would steer clear of that decade. Second, I would think about fashion and trends. I have always wanted to live in the eighties, but I want my teenage years to be in that decade. So I may choose that or the nineties simply based on fashion and music. Let me know if you have any other thoughts about what you would take into consideration if you were offered this opportunity. Or, would you choose to stay in the present time? Trends are coming back and so is music- would you want to keep your life the complete same and turn down the time machine offer?
